Brandenburg Gate Sphere - Mobile Landmark Concept

The Brandenburg Gate Sphere was developed by Thomas Schulte as a commissioned concept for a newly founded German political party. The objective was to create a highly recognizable, rapidly deployable landmark that could be positioned close to major urban icons and public spaces, generating visibility, public engagement and media attention.

The first proposed location was the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Conceived as a temporary and mobile public-art structure, the installation combines a monumental globe with a distinctive supporting form that can carry campaign-specific messages and visual identities. Its scale and immediate symbolic character were intended to create a strong photographic image and a memorable presence within the city.
