Designed for an opera stage production in Hamburg, this suspended sphere installation combines sculptural design with precision engineering. The lightweight hemispherical structure was developed to safely suspend performers while creating a striking visual element above the stage.
The project included concept development, structural engineering, detailed fabrication drawings, custom metal construction, suspension design and final assembly. Every component was engineered to meet theatrical safety requirements while maintaining a clean, minimal appearance suitable for live performances.
